Barring mechanical failure or qualifying problems I think Mercedes is a lock for a 1 2 on the front row and in the race the rest of the year. They're too far ahead for teams to close that gap in the arms race.

Lotus has the potential for a podium this weekend. Their races usually go better than qualifying. Grosjean is a quicker driver than Maldonado, and Maldonado finished 8/9 in FP1/FP2. With a bit of luck, Grosjean could finish third, but Alonso seems to always do well at Catalunya .
